Easttel is a division of Amatole Telecommunication Services (Pty) Ltd.
The Company is licensed by ICASA and operates WiMax within the 3.5GHz frequency spectrum, and microwave back haul within the 13GHz and 23GHz spectrum.
Easttel provides last mile access via its own network direct to its customers. As a full service telecommunications operator, Easttel interconnects and switches its own voice traffic domestically and internationally, as well as providing full Internet and server hosted facilities located at its Core housed in the East London Telecom Tower.
Easttel is a full service telecom operator and the first to classify itself as a Provincial Operator, focusing on the Eastern Cape.
